Bauhaus – Broken Wings Accepted to Sacramento Film Festival

This message just arrived from Sacramento:

CONGRATULATIONS! Your film is in!
What better Christmas present? YOUR FILM is accepted to the Sacramento Film Festival, (set for March 28-April 1st 2007)…

More details will follow as we get them. For more information please visit their official website.

PS: MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU!!!! :-)

Extra reports on his experience!

Surfing the Internet, I stumbled over an article in the Cornell Daily Sun, a New York college based newspaper. In that article an inspiring actor describes his experience on set of a “Hollywood” Motion Picture film. Laughing about the way the fellow describes the plights of an extra I continue reading, intrigued: Shot in downtown Los Angeles…..hmmm….Nazi costumes on set…hmmmmm…..a cat with only one eye………WAIT a MINUTE! Is this guy describing his experience on OUR film? Are we the “Hollywood” film production? DAMN, we are!

Read the entire article here. It’s really funny.

PS: I guess we won’t be inviting that guy to our premiere party. ;-)

PPS: The writer took some liberties, uhm……, lets say, exaggerating a LITTLE bit. (He was right about being in the film for less then 2 seconds though. Sorry Alex, at least your name is in the credits!) :-)

Bauhaus – Broken Wings DVD update.

I just wanted to let you know that we are coming along with the DVD both in terms of the movie and the special features. Sandrine is currently editing the Behind The Scenes and it’s coming together nicely.

I’m currently preparing our 2k Digital Negative Files for a high quality DVD export and while I’m at it, I also polished out a few minor flaws from the original film as well.

Pictured below is an example. The top frame is from the original, whereas the bottom frame is the corrected shot, that fits much better within the rest of the scene.

We’ll post a sneak peak of the Behind The Scenes soon. Keep checking back.

You’ve got a Screenplay? (We WANT it!)

In cooperation with a Los Angeles based production Studio, EmotionP is searching for a feature length screenplay to be produced in 2007. If you are a talented screenwriter and have finished a script or an outline for a script, we would love to see it. Please visit us at http://www.emotionp.com/screenplay for more information.

We are looking forward to reading your work.
